That is an amazing story. I thought I had a hard and complicated life, but you beat me by a mile.

I am an american(now a french citizen) living in France, and I understand what you went through in the US. Just the word Texas and Memphis (y’all in a heap a trouble, boy!) give me shivers down my spine!

I bought a small wooden boat, and my dream is to turn it somehow into a sailboat. But I now know at 56 years of age that sailing around the world won’t get me any further than I am now.

Du must in sich selbst glauben, wirklich glauben, und mit kraft kâmpfen und dann kannst du alle traümen realizieren.

Dass weiss ich! Sicher!

If you believe in yourself, really believe, you can do anything!

this is such a cute article! Jeffery is doubly cute! catch and release, haha, I went line fishing w a friend off Langkawi, and I made him give all the fish we caught to the guy who brought us out in his boat; I thought he could use the fish for dinner! My friend wasn’t too happy about it but he was nice enough about it

I already told Leighann what I thought about your poem but you told her you’d really like that as a comment on Your blog so here you go: je parle seulement un peu de français étant donné que je suis Hollandais mais je pense il fait de la poésie magnifique, bravo! ~ for as far as I understand. Rebecca, thanks for your comment. I am glad I am not the only one who thinks like that. Using twitter seems to work better than abusing it. I’d rather be fishing today, but it’s cold and raining. I won’t put up with that for carp Hope you have better weather!

First, thanks for visiting my blog today, always appreciated and I’m even more delighted you like my special brand of ummm, humor (smile)
As for twitter, I know exactly what you mean. I have another account, beyond the outdooress, that I went crazy with. I did the mutal follow thing and discovered one day that 80% of my twitter stream was pure garbage.
So, with Outdooress, I decided I’m ONLY following people who converse with others, no @ replies in the stream and I won’t follow them. OR, anyone that uses auto update feeds like twitterfeed. No thanks. My experience is SO much better this way.
I took the no twitter whore pledge )
